All Mozart Evening, Repertoire includes:
Symphony No. 35 ("Haffner"), K.385
Violin Concerto No. 5 ("Turkish"), K.219
Three German Dances, K605 Contradances, K.609
Arias and duets from Il re pastore, Le Nozze di Figaro, and La clemenza di Tito
Mozart's music ranks among the greates achievements of human culture. Using Mozart's letters as a guide, this performance re-creates 18th century programming practices. Mozart's great "Haffner" symphony and "Turkish" violin concerto anchor a program as varied as it is unified. It is "short-attention-span theater" from the 1700's and it's a fascinatingly refreshing take on the concert experience. |

Pops Concert - Simply Sinatra
Sinatra's distinctive style made him one-of-a-kind. Well, almost. The brilliant vocalist Steve Lippia interprets Sinatra favorites with a tip of the hat to Ol' Blue Eyes. Big Band sounds back up Steve's uncanny vocal stylings in such favorites as "Come Fly with Me," "My Way," "New York New York," and much more. Nostalgia for some, novelty for other...great music and great fun for all.

Family Concert
A concert for the whole family! Last year the friendly alien, Schnoodle, thrilled children and parents alike when he visited Boulder to learn about a symphony orchestra. After returning to his home planet, he realized that, although they had instruments, they needed some actual music to play! Join us as we explore with Schnoodle the great variety of musical styles an orchestra can perform.
This concert features members of the BPO plus a performance by the winner of the Young Artist Concerto Competition, and the annual Youth Symphony Side-by-Side performance.
