INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra hosts a robust internship program in order to provide learning opportunities for interns in a wide range of areas related to the daily operations of a small performing arts non-profit. We are now accepting inquiries for the 2017-18 concert season (approx. September-April).

Interns are directly involved in most aspects of operations for this highly acclaimed regional professional orchestra and work alongside experienced professionals, community members, and a network of resources within the Boulder cultural community. As a team player, an intern gains solid professional skills while facilitating the day-to-day work at the Boulder Phil. Examples of projects include but are not limited to:

Education Programs Intern (Fall-Spring):

Development/Marketing Intern (Fall-Spring):

Administrative Intern (Summer, and other terms as available):

We need people with positive attitudes and a willingness to learn. Strong writing, interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, HTML, or graphics programs is a plus. At the end of the experience, the intern should have a good idea of many of the working aspects in a dynamic, hard-working non-profit organization. Interns are generally recent graduates, current graduate students, or career changers. Individuals who have recently completed internships with the Boulder Phil have moved on to full-time employment in arts management, graduate school, or careers in teaching and performing. If interested, please send your resume to info@boulderphil.org.

** Internships are unpaid positions. Job perks include complimentary tickets to all Boulder Philharmonic concerts & valuable experience working in a dynamic, small to mid-sized non-profit.

The Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra gives equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, transgender status, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, age, citizenship, ancestry, national origin, handicap, disability, political service, political affiliation, or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran. In addition, the Boulder Phil will comply with any affirmative action requirements that apply and with all EEO requirements that apply under state and local law.
