Program Notes

Boulder’s superstar pianist, David Korevaar, “Rachs” the house for this big musical event kicking off the new year. Korevaar is an accomplished soloist and chamber musician, and associate professor of piano at the University of Colorado-Boulder.

From a side of rocker Frank Zappa you may not have heard before, to the Argentine sounds and rhythms of Astor Piazzolla, to Rachmaninoff’s beloved Third Piano Concerto, it will be a night to remember.

"Wonderfully warm, pliant, spontaneous playing..."
~The Washington Post
"fascinating" - "triumphant...vivid" ~Musical Opinion
