The Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to offer the Young Artist Concerto Competition during the 2019-2020 season! First prize winner will receive $300 as well as the opportunity to perform with the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra during our March 22, 2020 concert. Second place will receive $200 and third place will receive $100. In support of our ongoing mission to create a positive competitive environment, select participants will be invited to perform in a recital in the spring.
The auditions will be held on January 26, 2020 at
St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church

High school students in the state of Colorado are eligible to apply. First place must be available for the March 22, 2020 rehearsal and performance. All contestants will be judged by a panel of professional musicians from the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and will be provided with the judges’ scoring and comments following their audition. All decisions made by the judges are final.
To enter, please complete the online registration form. Applications are due no later than January 10, 2020. The $30 application fee can be paid through the Paypal link that will pop up after the form has been submitted or sent via check to the Boulder Philharmonic Office at 1600 Range Street, Suite 200, Boulder CO 80301. Scholarships are available upon inquiry.
